Our Lord and Savior was a carpenter, the supreme craftsman who crafted the very spirit that is perfectly placed deep within our hearts. Colossians 4:5 says,"Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time."The wisdom that we at Savior Watches will be walking with are the watches we deliver with loving and encouraging words our Lord and Savior left for us to share in attempts to make you believe more with all of your heart.

Being a Christian is a test on it's own. I knew I loved God since I was a child but I had no clues as to what that meant for me. I loved him yes, but how much did I love Him? When I was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, deep down I knew that the emptiness I felt inside was me putting God to the side. And once He was reintroduced into my life, I was a baby all over again looking into a brand new world I have never seen before and that emptiness I had inside was filled with love of Jesus Christ.

With my love for God comes certain tests and obstacles for instance, I was walking in Balboa Park going towards the big water fountain by the space museum. Along that path, you'll notice tons of street performers using their talents to entertain others as well as booths of crafts and other things. I noticed that there was a group of 7 or 8 men surrounding a canopy that said "There is no God! Once you found the truth you will be set free and experience true life!" Then I noticed other signs that said atheist this and atheist that... How far from the truth they are!

One gentleman approached me and asked if I believed in God, within a split second I responded back "Absolutely 100% without 1 single doubt!" He said, "So you believe that God created the heavens and the earth, that man came from the dirt, etc..." I answered, "Yes I do!" He asked why and I told him because I have faith that he did, I believe with all my heart that he did all this for us.  Then, he hit me with it, what proof do you have? I looked at him then looked at all my surroundings and said, "Because of all this!", "All of what?" he asked... "All of this!" I pointed at couples with children playing, people laughing, loving one another... "The good that we have in our world is because of God. The love that we show one another, the beautiful natural things he has created for us like the blue sky, majestic mountains, clear oceans, birds flying... that alone is worth believing"

"But that's still not proof!" he said... I asked, "Well, what do you think? How was all this created? What is your proof that it happened otherwise?"... He said, because of the Big Bang... Gases and this and that formed our solar system, the planets around us, etc... So I asked, "So you believe in the Big Bang Theory and that we all came from apes?" He said, "To a certain degree, yes!" So I asked, "Well what's your proof that it actually happened? Because the way I see it, you don't have any proof that the Big Bang actually took place which is why it is a theory and not a fact. Your "theory" is similar to my faith, but the difference is my faith still stays the same and fits under the same category as my truth versus your theory will always and forever stay a theory with nothing to state the facts that it actually happened." I then asked, "Do you believe in ghosts?" he said, "I believe that theres a possibility of restless spirits that reenact certain things." Right after he said that I asked, "How could you believe that there's restless spirits reenacting certain things but you don't believe that there's a Holy Spirit who took care of all things?" I told him, "What I find funny about what you and your friends are doing is the fact that you're atheist but you're trying so desperately to get others to view things the way you view them. We as Christians have our support systems, our ministries... We minister one another to make our faith that more stronger and to gain more knowledge that God intended us to have. We are there for our fellow brothers and sisters, our neighbors and you're one of them. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ and that he died for our sins, why on earth are you wasting your time sitting on a lawn chair at a beautiful park, on a beautiful Saturday screaming to the crowds that you do not believe in God? Why waste your time?... unless you're here trying to seek help and the truth yourself?" So I then asked him "Would you like to get to know Jesus? Are you prepared to accept him as your Lord and Savior? Because There is a God! And once you found the truth you will be set free and experience true life!" Irritated at what I had to say, he said "Thanks for your time!" then turned around heading back to his canopy.

The devil works in so many ways to make people not believe in our Lord and Savior. Whether it being through drugs, alcohol, or even atheists... The most important thing is to stand your ground and keep your faith strong. Don't let anything distract you from your relationship with Jesus, at the same time, because all of us must abide by God's "Love Thy Neighbor," invite them to take a chance and try to get to know Him. Who knows, we may be able to make believers out of them, amen?
